Job Summary:
The Clinician III (LPC, LCSW or LMFT) is responsible for providing mental health assessment, treatment planning, and counseling intervention services, as well as continually monitoring and documenting client progress and outcomes. The Clinician III functions as a member of an interdisciplinary team, coordinating care and assessing client progress and wellbeing in accordance with the client’s individualized treatment plan. The Clinician III shall utilize clinically approved modalities, including but not limited to: the use of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused, Brief Solution, and Focused therapies in accordance with their training and certifications.
Job Responsibilities:The Clinician III participates in clinical treatment planning and client files that include treatment plans, progress notes, reports, and case conceptualizations.
Working with professionals from outside agencies in joint treatment efforts, meetings, staffing, special activities, and consultation.
The Clinician III may have the opportunity to clinically supervise other interns and/or licensed associate counselors
Clinician III will provide psycho education to clients, providing information regarding mental health, emotional disorders or behavioral health
Provides outreach and follow-up of services
Ensures the development and implementation of transition, discharge and aftercare plans prior to discontinuation of behavioral health services
Maintains the client's clinical record, including consents and documentation of activities performed as part of the service delivery process (e.g. Assessments, provisions of service, coordination of care, discharge planning).
Provides continuous evaluation of the effectiveness of treatment through the ongoing assessment of the client and input from the client and relevant others resulting in modification to the service plan, as necessary
Minimum Education & Experience:
Master’s Degree related to behavioral health field. (required)
Licensed through AZBBHE **REQUIRED** (LPC, LMFT or LCSW)

Certifications/Licenses:
CPR & First Aid (required)
Valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (required)
LPC, LCSW or LMFT (Required)
Proof of Professional Liability Ins. (required)
Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Computer skills including working knowledge of Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Calendar.
Experience with Apple products is a plus.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to follow instructions, as well as following through
The willingness to accept guidance on clinical documentation, and all other areas of Clinical experience and supervision
Able to acknowledge mistakes, stuck points, and deficiencies and putting the effort in to learn from them, as well as being honest with oneself in the learning and supervision process
